Let His Hope Arise

This is my first blog….

This morning while teaching a High School Bible Journaling Class at my son’s co op, (for homeschool kids) we were going over last weeks homework. We are currently reading “Battlefield of the Mind for Teens”, by Joyce Meyer. It was all about our gift and what are we doing with what he has entrusted in us. Responsibility. Not putting things off but pushing and encouraging ourselves to do what we are called to do. Funny how I am leading these girls, but instead I am needing this for myself.

Mandy… you been putting off this blog for a long time now. I get an idea in my heart from GOD, write it down, talk about it, start it and then do nothing to launch… LOL Sound familiar to anyone?

I have a sign on the wall at home that says, “If your DREAMS don’t scare you, they are not BIG enough!” This is the truth. The things HE has put in our heart to do, require HIM. They are things we cannot do on our own. This blog may seem small, it is, but it’s actually just me taking a step, leap into what HE wants me to do. I am a known procrastinator, even hermit crab. But I have to be vulnerable and expose my weakness and bad habits to make myself step into the next. Growth won’t happen if I don’t trust HIM.

So many go to the grave and the Dreams and Purpose that GOD had placed inside of them dies with them. Never used. Never reaching full potential because of fear.

As I challenge myself to be accountable to HIM and Myself, what do you need to do that you are putting off? What gift are you hiding?
